Meet the Dentists

Dr. Tyler Onishenko:

tyler Tyler Onishenko was born and raised in Saskatoon. He attended Holy Cross High and pursued his post graduate education at the University of Saskatchewan. He graduated with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry in 2003. Since then, he has enjoyed practicing dentistry at Circle Drive and 8th Street Dental to the present time. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, watching the Roughriders, walking his dogs at the dog park and spending time at the lake.

Dr. Matt Soroski:

matt Matt Soroski attended Bishop James Mahoney High School. He graduated in 2007 from the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry with great distinction winning the Dean’s gold medal for academic and clinical excellence. He has been practicing with his fantastic team at Circle Drive and 8th Street Dental since 2008 and enjoys nearly all facets of dentistry especially esthetic, implant and restorative care. Dr. Soroski is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan, the Esthetic Alliance Implantology Study Club and is a part time clinical lecturer at the College of Dentistry. He greatly enjoys spending time with his wife and young twins as well as playing hockey, ultimate Frisbee and golfing as much as possible in his free time.

Dr. Graeme Lackie:

Graeme Lackie was born in Saskatoon and has lived in the city all his life. He is a graduate of Walter Murray Collegiate and following high school pursued a Bachelor of Science in Physiology at the University of Saskatchewan where he graduated with Great Distinction. After completing his undergraduate studies, Graeme entered the College of Dentistry, graduating in 2010. After convocation, he joined the team at Circle Drive & 8th Street Dental and has also returned to the U of S to assist as a clinical instructor in the department of Fixed Prosthodontics. In his spare time Dr. Lackie enjoys spending time with friends and family, running, skiing, travel and taking care of his Great Dane, Duke.

Dr. Jared Wendt:

Jared Wendt was born and raised in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and moved to Saskatoon in 2000. He graduated with great distinction and awards in periodontics from the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry in 2007 and has been practicing in Saskatoon ever since. He is a member of the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan, Canadian Dental Association, Saskatoon Dental Society, and Esthetic Alliance Implantology Study Club. Dr. Wendt enjoys and practices almost all areas of dentistry, and takes special pride in restoring a patient’s confidence through dentistry. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Wendt loves spending time with his wife, young son, and dog, as well as watching and playing hockey, watching CFL football, vehicle modification and repair, woodworking, collecting, home renovation, hiking, fishing, and travel.

Dr. Kimberley Hunter:

Kimberley Hunter grew up in Regina where she graduated from Miller Comprehensive High School. She moved to Saskatoon in 2000 and has called it home ever since. She worked as a dental assistant for several years, gaining invaluable experience in general dentistry, oral surgery and orthodontics.
She then pursued her dream to become a dentist, attending the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry, where she was recognized with the Komiyama Birdman Award, two University of Saskatchewan awards for undergraduate academic achievement, Professor’s Prize in Pharmacology, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Student Award, and the Dr. Kirk Johnston Spirit of Dentistry Memorial Award.
Kim is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan, and is a part-time clinical instructor of operative dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan.
Kim has a passion for working with children and takes pride in optimizing the pediatric dentistry experience. She is the proud mother of a 1 year old son, and enjoys the outdoor northern Saskatchewan experience with her family.
